Experience the newest techniques to properly strengthen the muscles most affected by pregnancy and birth, including body weight exercises, free weights, calisthenics, and stability ball. Learn how to train yourself to be in Better Than Before Baby Shape, in a motivaitng, safe and fun environment!

INFANT MASSAGE (newborn - 20 months)
“Bonding with Baby”: Plan to attend these four one-hour classes, and learn the ancient art of infant massage. Parents will be the only ones touching their baby, and will learn simple techniques to help with gas, colic, constipation, teething, and soothing those “fussies”. Please bring a towel or blanket and your warm hearts. We'll provide the oil and handouts.

MOM & BABY AND PRENATAL YOLATES
Moms and
moms-to-be; embrace this fun and exciting time by ‘getting back into
mind, body and spirit' together with baby! This class will integrate
baby with modified Yoga, Pilates and some physiotherapy based exercises
to assist with getting back into that pre-pregnancy form and shape!
Tone up the abdominal, pelvic floor, back and other ‘core muscles' with
Pilates, while promoting flexibility, lower/upper extremity
strength/balance and relaxation with Yoga. This class is suitable for
all babies who aren't quite ‘on the move'. Instructor: Yolanda Tsang is
a Registered Physiotherapist, is certified to teach STOTT Pilates and

Fitness Instructor and post-natal specialist Jules Hilliker is excited to introduce a comprehensive 13-week program designed to specifically retrain the areas of the body that have been affected by pregnancy and birth. Postnatal research has proven that typical abdominal exercises such as crunches can be ineffective and harmful. Participants will learn how to properly retrain their muscles to be even stronger than before baby. RehAB exercises have been specifically designed to repair the damage caused during pregnancy and labour. This class is the best place to start!

Dance back into shape with the best little partner of all - your baby! With the wee ones snuggled into baby carriers, new moms learn basic steps to popular Latin Dances, while babies shake maracas and bounce along to the Salsa beat. Salsa Babies™ offers a great workout, a chance to socialize with other parents, and an opportunity to introduce one's child to music and movement. Not to mention, it's perfect for people who have always wanted to learn to dance, but could never convince their partner to take lessons! Classes are appropriate for babies approximately 6-8 weeks of age and up, as long as you are comfortable supporting your baby in a carrier for the duration of the class (45 minutes). All levels of fitness and dance experience are welcome. Wear comfy clothes and shoes and don't forget a baby carrier.
