HOOPING FOR LADIES
Hooping is feel-good fitness! Have fun, work up a sweat, shape your
core and feel sexy. The custom hoops used are not 'kids hula hoops',
they are 4 feet in diameter and a little heavier, allowing them to
rotate more slowly around your body. This means that even if you think
you can't hoop, with one of these hoops, you can, regardless of age,
size, or sense of rhythm. You'll be keeping the momentum going while
learning tricks before you know it. This is a great cardiovascular
workout and builds muscle tone. The whole class is set to upbeat music
and taught by professional hooper Sophie Latreille of Fire Weavers
performance troop. No experience necessary! Drop in for your first
class or sign up for the 10-week progressive session. To check out
what is being done with hoops these days, visit www.hoopgirl.com. You
will be amazed!
Please wear non-slippery yoga clothes.

and groove to music. This is an opportunity to try it out and grow the
hooping community. A few hoops are available for jam use and for sale.
