WELCOME TO ODDYSEY
Ottawa Summer Day Camp (3 - 5 years and Sr Kindergarten - grade 7)

Jump into the excitement of this summer with GNAG’s Odyssey Summer camps. These theme-based recreational programs offer something for every camper.  Whether you are a brand new preschooler or seasoned veteran, GNAG has a camp for you!  Each week our seasoned staff will help you discover a new theme through out-trips, swimming, crafts, sports, games and more. Our Ottawa summer Camps run Monday - Friday 9AM - 4PM at the Glebe Community Centre.

ODYSSEY TYKES (3 - 5 years) 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM      

This half-day camp is filled with crafts, games, adventure and learning – the perfect combination to get your little tyke hooked on summer camps with GNAG!  TYKES is the camp where fun, education and discovery come together! Each week is a different theme that will be explored through a variety of activities. Please note that occasional bus out trips may occur.  Bring a lunch and snack each day.

A week of camp dedicated to learning all about our world’s amazing animals, and the fascinating ecosystems they inhabit! Crafts and games will make this week educational AND fun!

Follow the yellow brick road on this journey of discovery to lands far, far away like Oz, Wonderland, Middle Earth and Disney World! We will explore enchanted forests and tame magical creatures... you don’t want to miss out!

Throw on your snorkel, mask and fins, and get ready to take a plunge as we discover the hidden wonders of oceans, beaches and coral reefs! Nemo and Dori will be your guides all week long!

Do you believe in magic? We sure do! You’re never too young to start learning about magic! Get enchanted all week long as we brew potions, learn spells, and do some hocus pocus!

Do you want to be a fireman? A cowboy? A veterinarian? This week has it all! Learn about and experience all the exciting things you can do when you grow up in this jam packed week of fun! The possibilities are endless!

We can show you the world.... shining, shimmering, splendid! We’ll set off for new horizons on magic carpet rides, spaceships, submarines, and more! So many cool adventures and so many different ways to get there!

ODYSSEY TREKKERS (entering SK - Gr. 2)    

Get ready for this full day adventure.  Our youngest full day campers will enjoy age specific programing and out-trips every week.  Trekker campers are sure to have a fun-filled, action-packed and safe summer.

Crikey! Get ready to get messy as we explore the natural world of animals! Have fun meeting new friends with Ray’s Reptiles, The Museum of Nature, and Valleyview Little Animal Farm!

Yarrrr Mateys! Come beat the summer heat with a full week of wet n’ wild fun! This week will also take us to Lac Philippe where we will search for lost treasure…

Expecto Patronum! Summon the most enchanting week of camp ever! Master the art of sorcery at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft & Wizardry, cool off at the beach, and be amazed by a magic show!

Into the time machine    5…4…3…2…1… Blast off! Head back in time for some lasso loopin’ Wild West fun at Saunders Farm, and experience the turn of the century at Upper Canada Village.

This mission, if you choose to accept it, will teach you everything you need to know to become an international spy. Prepare for the ultimate spy kids operation at Cosmic Adventures and check out the coolest gadgets at the Museum of Science and Technology!

This week of fantasy will take us back to Camelot where we will become valiant knights and beautiful princesses. Enter the fairy forest at Vincent Massey Park and feel like royalty at the magical kingdom Special Event day!

We’re holding nothing back for summer’s grand finale! Waterslides, a petting zoo, and mini golf at Logosland, swimming at Lac Philippe, and much, much, more.

ODYSSEY TRIPPERS (Entering Gr. 3 - 4)     

There’s nothing boring about spending your summer with GNAG’s trippers. Trippers is designed as a balanced recreation program that offers a little bit of everything, so campers are sure to have a well rounded camp experience. Gear up and get ready to have the best summer ever!

What lurks in the Glebe Jungle? We’ll find out as we learn about animals from all over the world. This week is sure to bring out the animal lover in every camper. Outrips will include: Nature museum and Papanack Zoo.

We are the stars of own cinematic adventure this week. With a movie as the theme everyday it’s sure to be a theatrical masterpiece. Outrips will include: Tubes & JuJubes and Movie Theatre

Travel the coastline as you search for all the secrets the water has to offer. Visit Gatineau beaches and other watery outrips as we get wet all week long! Outrips will include: Calypso, and Gatineau Beach.

MINISTERY OF MAGIC          Mon. Jul 22 - Fri. Jul 26       9:00 am - 4:00 pm     $195
Transport yourself into the Ministry of Magic. Swallow polyjuice potion and become someone new or fight off a troll with your newly acquired skills.  Outrips will include: Gatineau beach

Get ready to travel through time this week, as each day will bring us to a different era.  Whether it’s walking like an Egyptian or partying like it’s 1999, this week is sure to be a week like no other! Outrips will include: Saunders Farm, Upper Canada Village

Summer’s almost over but have no fear! The best week of the summer is here! With big games and even bigger out trips we will end the summer in style. Outrips will include: Logos land, Funhaven, Movie Theatre.

ODYSSEY TRAVELLERS (Entering Gr. 5 - 7)      

Our oldest recreational campers need a different kind of camp! This camp will offer campers opportunities to grow their independence and find their freedom within new boundaries.  Get ready to explore all of Ottawa and its surrounding areas to see what it has to offer.

“Eco” is our middle name this week as we learn about our environment and the animals that live within it. We’ll find the captain planet in each of us, become a hero and bring pollution down to zero. Outrips will include: Omega Park

Climb inside your DeLorean, check your flux capacitor and drive into the future.  We will travel through time all week long, as we learn from the past and see what the future may bring.  Fasten your seat belt - it is sure to be a bumpy ride. 007 has nothing on us.  Jump into the action as we go on spy missions and create our own secret spy world.  Outrips: LaserQuest, Go Karts and Lac Phillipe.

Become the hero this week as we battle great evil. From video games to outdoor adventures we will become the hero of our own story this week. Also get ready to bring back a classic camp experience: the in centre sleepover. Outrips will include: Calypso, Funhaven

GO BIG OR GO HOME!     Mon.Aug 19 - Fri. Aug 23       9:00 am - 4:00 pm     $250
It’s our last week of summer and we are going out with a bang! Camp favourites will be featured this week as we celebrate the end of another summer. Outrips will include : La Ronde (extended day) and Midway.

Once your child checks in with us, they can check out the fun! Advanced registration is required.

$20 per week       $16 per 4 day week 

Odyssey Sunset (Post-Camp Care)    4:00 – 6:00 pm
Running late? We've got you covered in Post-Camp Care!  There will be games, crafts and outdoor fun!  Register in advance so that your kids can stay late. A homemade snack is provided.

$40 per week         $32 per 4 day week          or $10 per day
