BREAKFAST CLUB AND QUEST-4-FUN after school (BC & Q4)

Registration for 2013-2014 will take place in person on Saturday, June 8 at 9 am. We will post the number of spots available in each program the week before the registration.

Registration Fee: There is an annual non-refundable registration fee of $250.00 per child for Q4 and an annual non-refundable registration fee of $25.00 per child for BC. One month's written (email) notice is required to withdraw.

Rise and shine! Feeling a little rushed in the morning? Having trouble getting your children off to school on time? We can help start the day off right with the Breakfast Club gang! Your child will enjoy a healthy and delicious breakfast followed by some fun and games before school. If your child(ren) attend First Ave PS, Mutchmor PS or Corpus Christi, we’ll make sure they get there safely and on time! If your child is attending one of our 9:30 am courses, we'll hold onto them until the class starts.

Quest - 4-Fun (JK - Gr 6)
after school program

To meet the needs of our growing community we will be expanding Q4 by offering three SEPARATE programs effective September 2013.
This new program will enable us to provide your child with the opportunity to experience a more personalized environment with programs specifically tailored towards their age/stage development. We continuously modify our programs to ensure our after-school child-care is of the highest calibre.
Grades JK & SK
-       based out of the Preschool Room in the Glebe Community Centre with occasional activities offsite at our satellite locations (Mutchmor and Corpus Gym and the play yard)
-       designed to meet the needs of our newest full-day school children and their families.
-       Our kindergarten staff will ensure a fun and nurturing environment that will feel like a home away from home.
Grades 1 – 4
-       the traditional program you know and love and will continue to run for our children in grades 1 - 4.
-       will be based out of the Glebe Community Centre with daily activities at our satellite locations (Mutchmor and Corpus Gym and the field)
-       the group will be subdivided into two age-based groups (grades 1 & 2 and grades 3 & 4)
-       both groups will occasionally play together
Grades 5 & 6
-       based out of St. Matthew’s Church (First and Bank)
-       designed to re-invigorate the interest and participation of older kids in our after-school program. We are providing them with their own space separate from the younger children. Specialized programming will include the arts, sports, academic assistance, special projects, community service and fundraising as well as occasional out trips to exciting locations.
-       activities will end each day around 5:30 pm. We will then leave the church and head back to the centre. Please allow 15 minutes for the walkover.
-       with the goal of phasing out supervised walkover from school for grades 5 & 6 by the 2014-2015 school year, we encourage parents to consider registering your child for independent walkover beginning in September 2013. We ask that you encourage your child to walk in groups with their Q4 peers.

Q4 DISCOUNT

March Break Specialty Camps - March Break is our specialty!

DANCE CAMP (8 -10 years)

A week-long camp exploring tap, jazz, ballet, lyrical and hip hop. Under the instruction of Kailena Van de Nes, classes will include choreography, technique, stretching and strengthening and costume preparation. On the final day, dancers will perform during an open house for family and friends. (Ottawa)

VISUAL ART CAMP (6 - 8 and 9 - 12 years)

Enjoy a week-long camp and become Picasso Proteges. Students will spend half the day working with clay in our state of the art Pottery Studio and the other half exploring variety of visual techniques such as painting, drawing and mixed media. (Ottawa)

GALLOPING GOURMET (6 - 8 years)

This camp is sure to turn out a new generation of Top Chefs. Everyday we will create increasingly more difficult plates and learn about the importance of an efficient mise-en-place. We will mirror the efforts of inspirational celebrity Chefs, and best of all - indulge in our gourmet creations. The camp will include an out-trip to a professional and fast-paced kitchen, and will end with a family dinner or lunch prepared by the newly groomed culinary masters. (Ottawa)
