Kids Birthday Party Central

We like to party! How about you? If you want a birthday filled with fun and imagination, call the GNAG Ottawa office to book your Kids Birthday Party with our fun and dynamic staff. GNAG birthday parties are perfect for children 4 - 12 years of age. You pick the theme, and we’ll do the rest!

Cost:$225 - maximim of 12 children ($12 each additional child)

Length of Party: 2 hours

When:Sundays for 2 hours sometime between 1 - 4 p.m.

Includes: tons of games, activities or even a craft, it all depends on your theme and your child's interest. No matter what, your child's birthday will be an adventure of a life time!

Your responsiblities:We require at least one parent to stick around and enjoy the fun. Cake, plates & utensils, decorations and loot bags are up to you.

Birthday Dance Party

3 - 14 years
Plan a Dance Birthday Party at the Glebe Community Centre in Ottawa. We guarantee your child will have a fun and fabulous party that he or she will never forget! You provide the decorations, food and cake and we will take care of the rest. Our dance instructors can offer hip hop, jazz, ballet, funk, tap or any combination your child wishes. We will also include dance games and an amazing craft, that will go with the theme of your choice.

When:Sundays sometime between 1:00 - 4:00 p.m.

Length of party: 2.5 hours (includes 1.5 hours for dance instruction, games and a craft and 1 hour to allow for cake and present opening without the dance instructor).
Cost: $225 (up to a max of 10 children)
$12 / additional child

Pottery Party

Why not throw a Pottery Party?

You will spend 2 hours in our state-of-the-art Pottery Studio, building a clay project and selecting a glaze. We provide professional instruction that is creative, exciting and fun! Then continue the celebration for an hour in our party room. After your project is dried and fired, studio staff will glaze your work with your chosen colour, and it will be fired again. Pottery can be picked up about one week later.

Cost: $225 (based on a maximum of 10 participants)

Length of Party: 2 hrs on Saturdays between 2:00 - 4:00 p.m., one hour in a party room after the pottery portion without the pottery instructor.

Lego Party

LEGO© Party?

If you're interested in a Lego party, email Ian Dudley, the lego guy at ian.dudley@primus.ca for one hour of fun with gears, gadgets and robotics. Then once you have your time established, contact the Glebe CC at 613-564-1058 to book a room.

LEGO PARTY themes

Build it Big (1 hour) - 5 & 6 year olds

Working in pairs, children are introduced to forces and engineering principles as they build big, strong structures using LEGO® Duplo blocks. Projects include strong walls, pyramids and a castle. A robotics demonstration concludes the party.

Maximum number of 8 children including birthday child.

Junior LEGO® Engineer (1 hour) – 7 & 8 year olds

We start by playing the LEGO Creator Game, in teams of two, as an ice breaker. This board game involves building a variety of small projects from instruction cards. Next, in groups, we build one or more mechanical projects using LEGO Technic. These unique projects may include a battling top and/or a paper crinkler. A robotics demonstration concludes the party.

Maximum number of 8 children including birthday child.

Senior LEGO® Engineer (1 hour) – 9 to 14 year olds

We start in groups, building mechanical projects using LEGO Technic. These unique projects may include a battling top and/or a paper crinkler. Then, in teams, we build LEGO robots using Mindstorms NXT, and we do a Sumo challenge.

The maximum number of children, including the birthday child, varies with the age group:

Ages 9 & 10 max. 10 children

Ages 11 – 14 max. 12 children

Available for those who want a “take home”...

Boxed Project Kit for the paper crinkler and the top spinner, includes LEGO pieces and instructions for both projects. Comes in a clear loot bag. $8 plus HST per kit

Lego Party Loot Bag clear loot bag includes the Boxed Project Kit as above, along with a “LEGO guy” minifigure and LEGO stickers. $12.50 plus HST per bag
